Mr Goodall writes, "... statue in fron of Butler County
Courthouse. It was dedicated in May of 1907. The statue is unique
in the fact that it honors both Union and Confederate veterans....
it has several 17th Kentuckians listed, including 1st Lt. James
Ferguson. He was one of the men that organized the raising of the
monument.
