Dillis D Crister enrolled in the 17th Infantry on October 2, 1861. He was mustered in on January 4rd, 1862 at Calhoun for a three year enlistment in Company E before consolidation. He was a prisioner of war from Sepember 19m 1863 to January 14, 1865. He mustered out with his unit in Louisville on January 23, 1865 There are no other comments in the AG Report.
