Killian Refrow enrolled in the 17th Infantry on October 8, 1861. He was mustered in on January 4, 1862 at Calhoun for a three year enlistment in Company A, and was discharged April 21, 1862 at Shiloh. There were no other remarks in the Adjutant General's report.

Killian Renfrow was severely wounded at the Battle of Shiloh. Buried at Renfrow Cemetery at the community of Renfrow. [Barry Goodall]
